About Me

Steve represents and works closely with business owners and corporate officers to draft, negotiate, and analyze a wide range of commercial agreements concerning business operations, procurement, customer agreements, vendor relationships, licenses, leases, professional services, consulting and marketing agreements.  For businesses, both large and small, Steve provides legal counsel on existing contracts and provides practical advice regarding a company’s legal and contractual rights and obligations.

Steve practice also focuses on real property matters including commercial and residential real estate purchases, leases, real property disputes, condemnation, construction law, rights-of-way issues, easements, and street vacations.  Steve has many years of experience dealing with the intricacies of government and quasi-government acquisition of private property.  Steve represents business and individuals owners facing government condemnations resulting from roadway, pedestrian, mass-transit, and bicycle lane improvements.

Estate planning and probates are also key components of Steve’s practice areas.  Steve offers sensible estate planning services to individuals and families seeking to protect their asset, as well as, providing assistance with probate and trust administration.  Steve considers estate planning essential for every husband, wife, mother, father, and business owner, who has someone they care about.  Estate planning is not about death, it’s about providing for those who will remain after your death.

A graduate of Reynolds High School in Troutdale, Oregon, Steve obtained his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Portland State University and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.

A member of the State Bar of Oregon and Texas, member of the Real Estate & Land Use and Estate Planning & Administration sections of the Oregon Bar, Steve is committed to keeping abreast of the latest changes and innovations in his practice areas.
